WHO'S WHO

 

 

Cassia Reyes- She is the main character of the book, she has green eyes and brown hair. She is confused about who her match is supposed to be. She likes the fact that it is Xander but feels bad that Ky will never get a match.

Xander Carrow- Xander is Cassia's bestfriend and match. He has no idea that his face didnt show up on the microchip. He has no idea about Ky either.

Ky Markham- Ky is an aberration that was adopted by the Markham family in the same borough as Cassia because their son had been killed by an escapee.

Samuel Reyes- Cassia's dead grandfather, who is the only person she told about Ky's face popping up instead of Xander's.

Bram Reyes- Cassia's little brother who is said to be 10 years old.

Abran Reyes- Cassia's father, he was very happy to find out Xander was her match.

Molly Reyes- This is Cassia's mom. She give Cassia advice about her match ceremony.

Em- Cassia's best girlfriend. She is matched with a guy named Dalen who looks alot like Xander.

The First 48

 

                As I approach the crime scene I see a girl who is in shock. She is holding a grey box in her hands. The look on her her face makes me think someone died. I asked her what happened and this is the story she gave me.

                It all started on her way to her match ceremony. She was with her bestfriend Xander and it was a pretty normal match ceremony. Naturally she was nervous because this ceremony would determine who she spent the rest of her life with. All the names were being called and when hers was finally called she stood up, but the screen remained black. This signified that her match was in the room. It was Xander, her bestfriend. She told me she was the happiest she could be.



                The next day when she got home she wanted to look at Xander's microchip to find out more about him. She told me she didnt really need to look at it because she already new everything about him, but it was protocol so she did it anyway. There was only one problem, when she opened the box and inserted the card the face that came up was not Xander!

               I will continue to collect the facts and try to get to the bottom of this.

Matched is about a dystopian rommance. We think the book is going to be in the point of a girl named Cassia. She is getting matched with somoeone. She thinks she is going to be matched with someone named Xander, but when they showed her who it was it wasnt him.

Cassia reyes lives in a dystopian society that has alot of rules. Cassia lives with her parents amd her younger brother. They recieved their meals from a truck at a specific time. When they do their excerises it is monitored and made just for that person.Cassia is always monitored.
